Quinta de Azevedo

Quinta de Azevedo was acquired in 1982 as an operations base for Sogrape Vinhos and has under gone extensive investment since. Located in the Barcelos commune, a top quality area for wine production, the estate underwent meticulous restoration for four years which included the renovation and decoration of the Manor, whose tower dates back to the eleventh century, while new vines were planted with indigenous grape varieties (especially Loureiro and Pederna) in an area of nearly 35 hectares.
