Delivery & Returns
Our delivery charges are based on the number of bottles in your order, and each case can hold 12 x 75cl bottles as shown in the table below smaller and larger bottles are pro rata. We do not have a minimum order requirement.
Subject to stock availability and successful payment authorisation, we aim to despatch your order the next working day after you place your order. Our Standard Delivery is a next day service for most of the mainland UK from date of despatch, and The Highlands and Islands areas are on a 2-3 day service normally. As most orders are delivered via our chosen courier company, we cannot offer guaranteed delivery times, however the vast majority of orders placed arrive on the next working day. During busy periods these delivery times may extend. IF YOUR ORDER IS TIME CRITICAL PLEASE RING THE OFFICE TO GET MORE UP TO DATE INFORMATION ON CURRENT DELIVERY TIME SCALES, AND WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, BUT PLEASE NOTE WE ARE COURIER DEPENDENT ONCE THE ORDER LEAVES US, SO WE CANNOT ABSOLUTELY GUARANTEE A DELIVERY DATE.
We are able to hold your order if you would like to organise a day when you are going to be in, to do this just indicate it in the notes box provided in the delivery area of the order process. Please add any other specific delivery requirements in the same box and we will do our best to ensure they are followed, or alternatively call us on 01472 852118 and we will do our best to help you. Our chosen Couriers deliver Monday to Friday between 8.00 am & 6.00 pm.
Please note it is not possible to specify a timed delivery, without incurring additional delivery charges, if this something you require please contact us to discuss your requirements.
Please note that all our consignments normally REQUIRE A SIGNATURE on receipt. We will NOT be able to leave your order without someone taking the order in, we cannot leave your order unattended in a porch or garage etc., unless we get written confirmation from you that this is acceptable and that you will take full responsibilty if the parcel goes missing. However we are able to leave it with a neighbour or at an alternative address where they can take the goods in, please indicate this in the box for notes on the delivery page of the order process, if this is a requirement. If no-one answers the door, the address will be carded in the normal manner you should contact the courier or us to get the delivery rescheduled.
Orders under £30 in value will incur a small order £10 carriage charge to standard none surcharged UK delivery areas.

We take every care to ensure your order is correct but if any items are missing please accept our apologies and email orders@sandhamswine.co.uk quoting your order number and the missing item and we will investigate the matter further. We will rectify the situation as soon as possible and advise you as to our course of action.
We take every care to pack your order well, but if you receive any damaged or faulty items, please accept our sincere apologies. Please e-mail orders@sandhamswine.co.uk as soon as possible following delivery, quoting your order number, your name and address and details of what items are damaged or faulty. Please ensure that you retain all damaged packaging and content, so that they are available for inspection. Once you have notified us we will instruct on how to proceed.
Please allow 2 working days from receipt of a return for us to process a refund. Once we have done this you will receive an email confirmation. The email will be sent to the same email address as your Order Confirmation email was sent.
After receiving the return confirmation email, please allow a further 5-10 working days for the refund to be credited back to your credit card. This time frame is dictated by your bank or card issuer and is outside of our control. Your refund will be credited to the same card with which you made your original purchase. If for any reason this is not possible, i.e. the card had been declined or has expired, we will send a cheque to your billing address within 2 working days.
Returns Policy on Delivery Costs
If you are returning an item to us for a refund or an exchange, then the cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility. We do not refund your delivery charges unless you have received a wrong or faulty item from us.
