Brut Premier is the embodiment of Louis Roederer style, combining all the fruitiness and freshness of youth with the vinosity of a fully mature wine. This is a structured and elegantly mature wine, with a lively attack and a smooth palate. Blend. 56% Pinot Noir, 34% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Meunier, including 10% of reserve wines from three former harvests, aged in oak casks for 2-6 years. Maturation. an average of three years ageing on lees, plus another six months after disgorging. Dosage. 11-12g/L of sugar from the dosage liqueur. Tasting notes. a golden colour with fine bubbles and a nose of fresh fruit and hawthorn. Smooth, complex palate mingling flavours of white-fleshed fruit (apple and pear) with red berries (blackberries, raspberries, cherries) and notes of toast and almonds. A pleasurable wine, deliciously smooth and mature. Choice of food. Brut Premier is excellent as an aperitif but also readily accompanies light entrées based on fish or shellfish.
Our delivery charges are based on the number of bottles in your order, and each case can hold 12 x 75cl bottles as shown in the table below smaller and larger bottles are pro rata. We do not have a minimum order requirement.
Subject to stock availability and successful payment authorisation, we aim to despatch your order the next working day after you place your order. Our Standard Delivery is a next day service for most of the mainland UK from date of despatch, and The Highlands and Islands areas are on a 2-3 day service normally. As most orders are delivered via our chosen courier company, we cannot offer guaranteed delivery times, however the vast majority of orders placed arrive on the next working day. During busy periods these delivery times may extend. IF YOUR ORDER IS TIME CRITICAL PLEASE RING THE OFFICE TO GET MORE UP TO DATE INFORMATION ON CURRENT DELIVERY TIME SCALES, AND WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, BUT PLEASE NOTE WE ARE COURIER DEPENDENT ONCE THE ORDER LEAVES US, SO WE CANNOT ABSOLUTELY GUARANTEE A DELIVERY DATE.
We are able to hold your order if you would like to organise a day when you are going to be in, to do this just indicate it in the notes box provided in the delivery area of the order process. Please add any other specific delivery requirements in the same box and we will do our best to ensure they are followed, or alternatively call us on 01472 852118 and we will do our best to help you. Our chosen Couriers deliver Monday to Friday between 8.00 am & 6.00 pm.
Please note it is not possible to specify a timed delivery, without incurring additional delivery charges, if this something you require please contact us to discuss your requirements.
Please note that all our consignments normally REQUIRE A SIGNATURE on receipt. We will NOT be able to leave your order without someone taking the order in, we cannot leave your order unattended in a porch or garage etc., unless we get written confirmation from you that this is acceptable and that you will take full responsibilty if the parcel goes missing. However we are able to leave it with a neighbour or at an alternative address where they can take the goods in, please indicate this in the box for notes on the delivery page of the order process, if this is a requirement. If no-one answers the door, the address will be carded in the normal manner you should contact the courier or us to get the delivery rescheduled.
Orders under £30 in value will incur a small order £10 carriage charge to standard none surcharged UK delivery areas.
