VINEYARD
Due to the optimal agro-ecological conditions of the location of "El Monte" it has been chosen to make our Monte Real Reserva. The parcels, worked by small winegrowing suppliers are more than 30 years old and located at 430 metres to 530 metres above sea level. The banks of the Ebro river cause the wide variation in seasonal temperatures; rainfall is well spread out throughout the cycle and there is plenty of luminosity. A winegrowing assessment programme is carried out to implement integrated winegrowing techniques which respect the biodiversity of the flora and preserve the entomological fauna of the vineyards.

WINEMAKING The grapes are destemmed and gently crushed. Fermentation seeks to optimise the native yeasts selected in the vineyard. Through the 24 months of ageing in 50% French oak and 50% American oak medium-plus toast barrels, we enhance the freshness and increase the intensity of the fruit in search of aromatic complexity and at the same time increasing wine volume and improving sweetness. The aim is to enhance all the positive characteristics and preserve them over time, ensuring that the typicity and local culture of Cenicero prevails.

TASTING NOTES
Monte Real Reserva has a mysterious complexity and elegance from its very origin. The Cenicero Tempranillo fragrance was created to conquer with its aroma. Intense cherry red with a subtle vermilion rim. In the nose the aromas of fresh red fruits appear intermingled with jammy ripe fruits and liquorice. It has an enticing fleshiness in the mouth, charm with all the magic of the liquorice, the silkiness of ripe fruit, resulting in a lively concoction, playing with notes of chocolate, clove, nutmeg and resinous touches.
