This family owned Bodegas owns all of its own vineyards, totalling 741 acres in the Rioja Alta, Rioja Alavesa and Rioja Baja which means they have total control of their grape sources which is unusual in Rioja. The aim of the Martinez Bajunda family is to make world class wines with an individual style yet still retain their Rioja identity. In particular their philosophy is to produce wines that will age well yet can still be drunk and enjoyed in their youth. All their Riojas are produced from vineyards situated in Cenicero, Oyon and Ausejo.
