Loosens' vineyards owe their excellent quality to the microclimate of the river valley resulting in cool nights and excellent sun exposure. The stony slate soil holds the heat of the day thus ensuring the grapes reach full ripeness.The topsoil is thin forcing the vine roots to dig deep for nutrients, producing intensely minerally and vibrant wines.
