TASTING NOTES.
An overwhelmingly hedonistic spectrum of ruby grapefruit, glace pineapple, marmalade and honey, all supported by a seamless line of lime zest acidity.
FOOD PAIRING.
The Natural Sweet Viognier is a delicate form of sweet wine which could be served with a wide range of cheeses as well as a fruit and cream based desert.
WINEMAKING.
The grapes were whole bunch pressed using dried ice to preserve maximum flavour. The juice settled overnight with pectalytic enzyme in a stainless steel tank after which 10% of the clear juice was gravity fed to barrel and the remainder underwent a slow, gentle ferment in tank .
All barrels underwent natural fermentation to enhance complexity. The tank fraction was inoculated with a mild commercial yeast specifically suited to sweet wine production. The ferment was monitored daily and once the desired alcohol/sugar/acid ratio was reached the ferment was stopped using the Thermoflash process. The barrel and tank fractions were then blended and a light filtration took place.
Our delivery charges are based on the number of bottles in your order, and each case can hold 12 x 75cl bottles as shown in the table below smaller and larger bottles are pro rata. We do not have a minimum order requirement.
Subject to stock availability and successful payment authorisation, we aim to despatch your order the next working day after you place your order. Our Standard Delivery is a next day service for most of the mainland UK from date of despatch, and The Highlands and Islands areas are on a 2-3 day service normally. As most orders are delivered via our chosen courier company, we cannot offer guaranteed delivery times, however the vast majority of orders placed arrive on the next working day. During busy periods these delivery times may extend. IF YOUR ORDER IS TIME CRITICAL PLEASE RING THE OFFICE TO GET MORE UP TO DATE INFORMATION ON CURRENT DELIVERY TIME SCALES, AND WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, BUT PLEASE NOTE WE ARE COURIER DEPENDENT ONCE THE ORDER LEAVES US, SO WE CANNOT ABSOLUTELY GUARANTEE A DELIVERY DATE.
We are able to hold your order if you would like to organise a day when you are going to be in, to do this just indicate it in the notes box provided in the delivery area of the order process. Please add any other specific delivery requirements in the same box and we will do our best to ensure they are followed, or alternatively call us on 01472 852118 and we will do our best to help you. Our chosen Couriers deliver Monday to Friday between 8.00 am & 6.00 pm.
Please note it is not possible to specify a timed delivery, without incurring additional delivery charges, if this something you require please contact us to discuss your requirements.
Please note that all our consignments normally REQUIRE A SIGNATURE on receipt. We will NOT be able to leave your order without someone taking the order in, we cannot leave your order unattended in a porch or garage etc., unless we get written confirmation from you that this is acceptable and that you will take full responsibilty if the parcel goes missing. However we are able to leave it with a neighbour or at an alternative address where they can take the goods in, please indicate this in the box for notes on the delivery page of the order process, if this is a requirement. If no-one answers the door, the address will be carded in the normal manner you should contact the courier or us to get the delivery rescheduled.
Orders under £30 in value will incur a small order £10 carriage charge to standard none surcharged UK delivery areas.
